If to be feelingly alive to the sufferings of my fellow-creatures is to be a fanatic, I am one of the most incurable fanatics ever permitted to be at large.
~ William Wilberforce
I Stand with
♥ Palestine & The Oppressed ♥
The incessant eradication of Palestine incenses me to the core rendering me speechless and ire and shame take the place of (unspoken) words. These so very few words, engulfed with ire, are what I have to offer (for now) though words will never ever suffice or even begin to express the ongoing nightmare in Palestine . . .
I DESPISE racists and racism with every fibre of my being, defenders of oppression and oppressors and those who are selective in terms of their beliefs and “principles” (and more still, when they justify them). I ABHOR Arrogance, Hypocrisy, Ignorance, INJUSTICES of any kind, and Intolerance. I Believe in Truth, Respect, Human Rights and Equality.
If you have any of the aforesaid loathsome traits, are an advocate of “Israel” or ANY Oppressor and a defender of their chronic oppressive bloodthirsty ethnic annihilation of an ethnic people, you’re not only a callous racist, but a threat to justice creating a fissure in humanity, and you have no place on this website!
People who call themselves supporters of Israel are actually supporters of its moral degeneration and ultimate destruction.
~ Noam Chomsky
The once oppressed have become the oppressors, radically wiping out the Arabs of Palestine – who have lived on the Holy land for over a thousand years, more than any other race or ethnicity – with ravenous bloodlust.
You don’t give a damn! You don’t give a damn, you don’t even know about the Palestinian families! You don’t even know that they exist! Tell me the name of one member of the seven members of the same family slaughtered on the beach in Gaza by an Israeli warship. You don’t even know their names! But you know the name of every Israeli soldier who has been taken prisoner in this conflict. Because you believe, whether you know it or not, that Israeli blood is more valuable than the blood of Lebanese or Palestinians.
~ George Galloway
If you claim or say you care about Palestine, ACT and STOP filling your stomach, painting your face, clothing yourself, etc. – all of which are fleeting and replaceable “pleasures” – with Palestinian Blood! Palestine’s Blood is also on YOU if you’re not “acting” against the oppression, maniacal massacres and desolation, or selectively doing so. An effortless option is BOYCOTTING racist “Israel” and anyone or anything that supports or profits from it.
We are to DO our utmost, with our all and our breathings, devoid of any feeble excuse(s), to end the genocidal (illegal) oppression, occupation and colonisation – even if in our small way. (Envision and envisage yourself in their place – if that is even imaginable – because it could be you or your loved ones. Think about what’s happening to the Palestinians and maybe this will stir and awaken a desire in you to act.)
If we don’t show mercy or compassion to others by not doing our best or remain apathetic or indifferent, then we don’t deserve mercy in return – or mercy from the ALL-Merciful (SWT) – and SHAME on us (–_–)!
A Note on “Anti-Semitism”: Before you arbitrarily misuse the term “anti-Semite”, I beseech you to read – and fully apprehend and comprehend – the definition of the word Semite. Learn to differentiate between Zionism, Israel and Judaism because they’re NOT synonymous. Educate and edify yourself about the rich history of Palestine and its people. Don’t let xenophobia, odium and fear blind you from the truth. You don’t want to come across as an intolerant ignoramus because you’re lexically and historically uneducated!
For the intellectual the task, I believe, is explicitly to universalise the crisis, to give greater human scope to what a particular race or nation suffered, to associate that experience with the suffering of others.
~ Edward W. Said
